چکیده

Service evolution requires sound strategies to appropriately manage versions resulting from changes during service lifecycle. Compatibility addresses the graceful evolution of services by considering the effects of changes on client applications. Traditionally, compatibility assessment is restricted to the worst-case scenario, because the analysis is based on the documents that describe service properties (e.g. WSDL and XSD files). However, such compatibility may not be representative of the real impact on clients, because a non-compatible change may affect a not used element, such as the type of an optional parameter or an unused operation. This paper addresses service evolution on a finer grain fashion. We propose a versioning model and a compatibility assessment at element level in order to identify the impact points, propagation effects and categorization of changes on service elements during evolution. This approach provides important information for supporting service evolution by either maximizing version reusability (e.g redirecting of requests, overload balancing, etc.) and/or pinpointing the change impact points that basis approaches such as usage based analysis.

Maximum Allowable Dynamic Load of Flexible 2-Link Mobile Manipulators Using Finite Element Approach

In this paper a general formulation for finding the maximum allowable dynamic load (MADL) of flexible link mobile manipulators is presented. The main constraints used for the algorithm presented are the actuator torque capacity and the limited error bound for the end-effector during motion on the given trajectory. The precision constraint is taken into account with two boundary lines in plane w...

A Congested Double Path Approach for a Hub Location-allocation Problem with Service Level at Hubs

In this paper an uncapacitated multiple allocation p-hub median problem is discussed. The model minimizes the transportation cost based on inventory service level at hubs through double paths between hubs. Inventory service level is defined as the percent of inventory shortage of vehicles at hubs according to passengers demand and replenishment time of vehicles. A real data from 25 nodes of mun...

A Feature-based Versioning Approach for Assessing Service Compatibility

The ability of dealing with changes is one of the driving forces behind the adoption of service-oriented computing. Service evolution requires sound strategies to appropriately manage versions resulting from changes during service lifecycle. An Efficient Strain Based Cylindrical Shell Finite Element

The need for compatibility between degrees of freedom of various elements is a major problem encountered in practice during the modeling of complex structures; the problem is generally solved by an additional rotational degree of freedom [1-3]. This present paper investigates possible improvements to the performances of strain based cylindrical shell finite element [4] by introducing an additio...

A New Three-Dimensional Sector Element for Circular Curved Structures Analysis

In this research paper, the formulation of a new three-dimensional sector element based on the strain approach is presented for plate bending problems and linear static analysis of circular structures. The proposed element has the three essential external degrees of freedom (Ur, Vθ and W) at each of the eight corner nodes. The displaceme...
